The goal of this exercise is to examine the mechanism behind the generation of the tree needed for traffic routing. The application should eliminate any traffic loops and reconstruct the tree in case of link or switch malfunction.
First, we start the network up and confirm host intervisibility (which means the application generated the tree). Next we turn some links or switches off/on and look at how the application reconstructs the tree.
